Great watering hole, does have food some evenings when various catering companies set up outside

Very strange to see the bridges which used to cross the canal just appear in the middle of fields with no apparent purpose.

So very sad to say that this landmark has now closed 😢

Great flat walking route

Great local bar with a good selection of beers. Can be cold in winter but is a nice place to meet friends during summer due to the large outdoor area. They also have food vans regularly during the year.

Lovely stretch of the River Kent running through Kendal. Watch out for wildlife with Otters and Dippers being seen.

Good shared use path, just watch out for dog walkers
