Very beautiful and idyllic

Where the Witwe-Bolte-Weg, a hiking trail from Wald im Allgäu, and the Kleeblattweg No. 4, a hiking trail from the Kleeblattquartett from Lengenwang, meet, there is a small pond, with an old abandoned "villa" in the neighborhood, the so-called "Fendt Villa" in a quiet location in a small forest. There is very little hiking and cycling traffic here, so you can enjoy the pond and nature. The two hiking trails go together to the hamlet of Stechele, where they separate again and return to their starting points.

Access to the pond and swimming are free of charge. There is a children's swimming area, a playground, and a bathing island in the pond. For the past few years, swimming may not be possible in summer due to low water levels. In extreme dry weather, the pond's outflow is opened to ensure that the river mussels get enough water. A short walk takes you across the neighboring farms (in the Ettwiesen district) towards Kohlunden and past the old Roman tower, about 2 km away. On the southern shore of the Ettwieser Weiher, you'll find the "Klette am Ette" climbing garden with 11 courses of varying difficulty levels.

Beautifully situated lake for swimming. You can also hike and cycle around the lake. It is very popular and busy.

Idyllic spot on the edge of Kempten. Unfortunately there was a lot of algae in the water, probably due to the high temperatures.

At the Bachtelweiher there is a swimming area as well as a restaurant and a mini golf course.
