The Ettwieser Weiher is a great little lake with a kiosk and a beautiful lawn for sunbathing, and in summer it is great for swimming, from here you can also start several hikes 👍

Access to the pond and swimming are free of charge. There is a children's swimming area, a playground, and a bathing island in the pond.

For the past few years, swimming may not be possible in summer due to low water levels. In extreme dry weather, the pond's outflow is opened to ensure that the river mussels get enough water.

An alternative swimming pond without any infrastructure is the nearby Kuhstallweiher pond. A short walk takes you across the neighboring farms (in the Ettwiesen district) towards Kohlunden and past the old Roman tower, about 2 km away.

On the southern shore of the Ettwieser Weiher, you'll find the "Klette am Ette" climbing garden with 11 courses of varying difficulty levels.
