Uwe attracts everyone's attention on the Falkenstein shore. The ship capsized in December 1975 in thick fog. Today, at low tide, Uwe's foredeck protrudes from the water. Another eye-catcher is the Finnish shipwreck Polstjernan, which caught fire in the 1920s on the way to England.

The Krugkupplung Bridge is a listed structure that spans the Alster on the north side of the Outer Alster between Hamburg-Harvestehude and Winterhude and carries the street "Krugkupplung" across the river.

Great hiking trail from HafenCity, over the stairs district and the Falkensteiner Ufer towards Wittenbergen. Walking time, approx. 1-3 hours, depending on the destination.
