The Aquadrom at the Auenbach near Erlbach is a strange thing. I assume that depending on the water requirements for the mills in the valley, "the course" was set there. When we were there, the Auenbach flowed wide across the path / road, making it impassable. The wooden sign says "Aaquadrom carassius auratus" and, according to the Wiki, the goldfish are gold (cold water) that have already been successfully bred in the garden pond.

The exterior of the tower hasn't changed that much since 1907. Probably due to its peaceful use, it was spared from anything. Unfortunately, it is seldom open to get to the viewing platform.

As is so often the case, only a desolate remnant can be seen of the restaurant at the Rinnmühle am Auenbach in Erlbach. The mill itself is a monument and today a residential building that has been partially renovated since 1999. Opposite the restaurant there is still the dance hall, where people always invited to dance at Whitsun. It only brings back memories, even though the building is not that broken. It is a grinding and cutting mill that worked until 1950.

The market square Geringswalde is mainly characterized by the beautiful town hall and of course the Martin Luther Church. The town hall has a wonderfully renovated facade, as it looks inside - e.g. in the Ratskeller - could not be explored on site "during these times".
