An excellent weather shelter on the street "Grotenfehl" in Wietmarschen.

The cemetery, which is a little bit out of the way from the town, is rather small but no less interesting. Why? Well, take a look yourself 😉

Füchtenfeld is home to the football club FSV Füchtenfeld e. V. and the village community Füchtenfeld e. V. Annual events include the sports week, the winter festival, the Christmas market, the village community day trip and the Advent breakfast. On the panels the hiker will find interesting historical background of the dark German history.

In Füchtenfeld there is a 60-year-old rhododendron forest that is freely accessible and belongs to the Germer tree nursery. The forest has been a listed building since 1986.

The Protestant Refuge Church is a church building built in the 1960s specifically for German displaced persons and refugees.

For unknown reasons, the bridge over the canal was dismantled. Only the trailers are still available.

This train locomotive was built in 1953 and handed over to its destination in the moor.
