The Overijsselse Vecht (Low Saxon and German: Vechte) is a rainwater river in Germany and the Netherlands. It is 167 kilometers long[2], of which 60 km are in the Netherlands. Its source is in Münsterland and it flows into the Zwarte Water near Zwolle. The catchment area of the Overijsselse Vecht covers 3,780 km². St. Augustinus is Nordhorn's main Catholic church, which, along with the Reformed Market Church, dominates the city's skyline. The building was constructed from 1911 to 1913 according to the plans of the Hamburg government architect Josef Keith as an octagonal central structure with a dome, ambulatory, and lantern.
