Kiel's beautiful promenade with a wonderful view of the Kiel Fjord has been hidden behind construction fences for years because the sheet pile walls are dilapidated. Construction work is now underway on Kiel's best side. But it remains uncertain when we will be able to enjoy a magical view of both the water and the Kiellinie again 😔... Patience, patience and more patience is required here 😏...

There is exactly one channel ferry, the Adler I, which constantly commutes back and forth, i.e. every 15 or 20 minutes, depending on the time of day, costs nothing - not even for bikes.
