A small bridge at Behlersee

The Behler See is a lake in Holstein Switzerland. It lies between Timmdorf (a district of Malente) in the east and the town of Plön in the west. In the east it flows into the Langensee and in the west into the Höftsee.

The Behler See is located between the town of Plön and the village of Timmdorf in the middle of Holstein Switzerland. Like many other lakes, it is fed by the Schwentine and is directly connected to the Langensee and Höftsee. It is surrounded by the Schöhsee, Schluensee, Dieksee and the Suhrer See. It is 227 hectares in size and has a maximum depth of 43m. Fishing is not currently permitted in the lake. There is a bathing area on the edge of Timmdorf, the shore is very shallow, there is a lawn on the edge of the forest and a toilet.

It is worth taking a break here. There is a bench and a beautiful view of both lakes (Behler See and Höftsee).
