The painter's corner house, which is picturesquely situated on the Breitbach and originally dates back to the 17th century, is the landmark of the town of Marktbreit and is still a popular motif for artists and photographers. While the building served as a commercial building (spice shop) for centuries, it now houses the Malerwinkelhaus Museum with the permanent exhibition “Women’s Room.
