Nice trip, very varied

Here the Bocholter Aa flows into the Aasee. A large pedestrian and cycle bridge leads across. From there you have a beautiful view of the lake. But it also has a negative side. Since the Aa carries a lot of sediment with it and becomes a bit slower here, a lot of sand is deposited behind the bridge, which in turn has to be dredged out regularly. In some places even small islands have formed.

The sculpture "Jonas in the Whale's Mouth" stands together with the large water fountain near the old Königsmühle. The fountain can be admired from all sides of the lake, but Jonas is more difficult to spot. In the 1970s, he stood in the swimming pool of the old outdoor pool (near the forest recreation area - now Bahia). You could dive between the tail fin and climb around on him. The sculpture is a gift from the Flender Antriebstechnik company in Bocholt.

아아제 호수의 북동쪽 해안에는 섬과 큰 놀이터가 있고, 동쪽 해안에는 수영 만과 해변 카페(구 Ottilie)가 있습니다. 호수 남서쪽에는 서핑 만과 작은 조류 보호 섬이 있고, 북서쪽에는 보트 선착장과 바베큐 장소 및 보호용 오두막이 있는 언덕이 있으며, 호수 북서쪽 끝에는 Jonas, 분수, 새로 디자인된 Aasee 테라스와 R-Café(2026년 예정)가 있습니다. 호수 전체를 따라 보행자 도로와 별도의 자전거 도로가 있습니다. 호수 주변을 걷는 것은 즐겁지만, 주말이나 날씨가 좋을 때는 꽤 붐빌 수 있습니다.
