There is a rest area here with a table and benches. The trees provide pleasant shade.

You don't have to use the bridge, there is also a ford. A few meters away there is also a Roman cycle path rest area.

A nice lookout! A panoramic table and a bench invite you to linger. The most striking mountains that can be seen from here are the Traunstein and the Höllengebirge. Before that, the Wachtberg and the Buchberg are clearly visible.

In the parish church of Gampern is a special jewel: a carved winged altar from the period around 1500. With the wings of the altar open, we see three life-size figures in the shrine: Bishop Remigius, the patron saint of the church, Mary as Queen of Heaven with the Infant Jesus in her arms, and the helpers and martyr Pantaleon. The wing reliefs depict scenes from the life of Mary: the Annunciation, the Visitation, the Nativity and the Presentation in the Temple.
