Unfortunately, the summit cross on the Weinbergknogel is no longer standing. At least not on March 23, 2025.

From the rock 20 meters before the summit you can also see Lake Mondsee. Incredibly beautiful 🎉

A nice quiet round and suddenly you are standing in front of the waterfalls/cascades

From the east, cycling is prohibited before the summit and after about 300m you have to carry your bike anyway. The downhill section is challenging and not for everyone!! (and also illegal). So if you are going back the same way, I recommend leaving your bike at the no-entry sign.

Unfortunately, the cross from the Weinkogel was removed and the path to the ascent was closed.
