A beautiful reservoir that is used to generate electricity, but is still extremely pretty to look at. The hiking trail around the lake can be walked at any time of the year. Pedal boating and sailing is also possible here.

It is about 10 km to go around the lake.

A truly fantastic hut.🏡 The rooms are clean and spacious, and the food is truly delicious. The climb to the hut from the Alpengasthaus Finkau isn't too difficult (short sections are secured with ropes). The easy climb to the Roßkopf peak is possible from the hut; it takes about two hours. Recommended for a day trip or a longer stay. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Beautiful hiking trail around the lake, which is also very good to walk with children.

In the summer a great way to cool down and also suitable for swimming.

A circumnavigation is very worthwhile

In 1901 the inauguration of the Zittauer Hütte took place, which was named after the town of Zittau in Saxony. It is located directly on the lower Wildgerlossee and offers a magnificent view of the Reischspitz group.

Scenic hike, but the path is sometimes very narrow and when the numerous cyclists come and scream for space, it's not so much fun anymore.
