If you come down from Beerberg and want to continue on to Oberhof, you should definitely join the cycle path to Oberhof west of the car park. It is best to turn left at the car park and go against the one-way street 😊 to the cycle path at the upper and western end of the car park. Unfortunately, there is no green arrow or other indication of the beautiful, car-free, tarred cycle path from the roundabout into Oberhof.

The best view of the Rennsteig ski jump is from the road or from the viewing point directly below. It is definitely worth making the climb from the valley of the Haselbach.

Historically interesting complex, which is worth a detour even on a racing bike. The spa park behind it also has its charms. History: Only ruins of the actual monastery complex remain; the foundations of the monastery were uncovered between 1840 and 1906.
