The palace is a three-winged structure facing west, with an east-facing service section opposite. The main wing and the narrow west wing are built in the Renaissance style, while the north wing dates back to the Rococo period. Erected in 1857, the monument commemorates Martin Luther's stay in Möhra in 1521. Sculptor Ferdinand Müller depicts Luther with a Bible and raised arm, and scenes from his life are depicted on the pedestal. Located directly next to the Luther Church and Luther House – a historic ensemble steeped in Reformation history.
