Small, rustic alpine pasture away from the mainstream. There's really good buttermilk here and a sufficiently large menu with authentic dishes - the detour to Walleralm is definitely worth it!

Great view from the Wallner Hütte, especially when the uphill is done. Nice hut landlady, self-service

Nicely located, one looks from the Untere Firstalm over towards Stümpfling, down towards Spitzingsee and up to Taubenstein and Rotwand. Food and drinks are great. Also open in the Corona winter 2020/21 (to go). The Obere Firstalm, which is only a few minutes' walk higher, is also recommended. http://www.unterefirstalm.de/

The landlord doesn't like MTBs and has put up a few small signs on the way that are easy to overlook. It happened to me and I was hit so aggressively by him upstairs while I was eating, for minutes even though I asked him to let me eat, that I would never set foot on his bottom again. His rudeness is widely known. But the staff is nice.
