The Fritz Pflaum Hut is a rustic self-catering hut at an elevation of 1,865 meters in the Griesener Kar of the Wilder Kaiser. The ascent is mostly from the Fischbachalm via the Kleine Griesener Tor and takes about three hours. The tour is challenging, requires surefootedness and a head for heights, but is rewarded with spectacular views. The hut itself belongs to the DAV Bavarian section and is only accessible with an AV key.

Nice team at the hut. Unfortunately sometimes a bit too crowded at the weekend (at least for overnight stays), very nice hut. Also vegan food.

The Hans-Berger-Haus is a beautiful hut located in breathtaking natural surroundings in the rear Kaisertal valley. It is a great place to stay overnight and have a bite to eat. The Wilder Kaiser mountaineering school is also based here.

Here you can eat delicious food and relax. The hut can be reached in just under 1 hour from the Kaiserlift mountain station.

More geared towards mass tourism, many via ferrata climbers, but an ideal overnight stay at the end of stage 3 of the WilderKaiser circuit.
