The Thaler Kogel (1,656 m) belongs to the Hochschwab group and is something of an insider tip among the mountains with great views. There is no hut, but there is a beautiful summit cross, a great view and two benches with tables. You can climb it from several directions.

The path to the Eisenerzer Reichenstein is certainly not the easiest hiking trail. But given the view, you're happy to accept the elevation gain and the steep, rocky path.
