The Dalfazalm is a working alpine pasture located high above Lake Achensee at 1,693 m. They offer a variety of food and drinks, as well as homemade cakes. The view from the terrace is beautiful. 👍

... you can go to Spitzingsee (1,084 m), especially with children, at any time of the year. Spring, summer, autumn or winter. Does not matter. Because it's always great on site. The car can rest in the paid parking lot (5.00 euros) at the Taubensteinbahn (on the east side) or at the ski lift (on the west side); With a lot of luck you can also find a free parking space at the southern tip of Spitzingsee. Among other things I was there on November 1st, 2018 (in autumn) and on December 14th, 2018, on January 27th, 2019 and on December 10th, 2021 (in winter, with lots and lots of snow); it was great every time. In addition: whatever destination you are aiming for in the area, it will always be a nice tour. Either comfortable or somewhat dynamic and challenging (e.g. Rotwand (1,884 m), Brecherspitz (1,683 m)). Because the six-pack and the bikini figure don't just form like that... As a culinary tip, a stop at the Obere Firstalm (1,375 m) is a must, especially if you have children with you. It is cozy and there is everything on site so that you don't go hungry or thirsty. PS: please just look at the pictures of the tours mentioned. PS to PS: in winter there are also sledges to rent; The end of the route is at the Spitzingsattel (Trautweinweg).

Very nice Alm with very nice and friendly operators. The food is delicious and the portions adequate. Nobody will starve to death 😉. The view of the valley or the mountains is mega impressive.

Tip: Take the Rofanbahn up to the mountain station and from here hike along the panorama path with wonderful views of the Achensee to the Dalfazalm. Wonderful panorama terrace over lush green cow pastures on the emerald green water of the Achensee. Good food like Kaiserschmarrn, buttermilk and of course other foods and drinks. From here, continue hiking downhill to the Dalfaz waterfall down to Maurach. Tip: For those who are really sporty, there is of course also a (arduous) ascent from Maurach up to the Dalfazalm. Open from the beginning of May to the end of October

Beautiful panoramic mountain and at 1884 m the highest mountain in Lk Miesbach. On a nice day with a hair dryer you can see the Glockner in the east, the Olperer in the south and the Zugspitze in the west.

In these Corona times, there are also considerable waiting times at the drinks / food counter on normal weekdays. The hut wasn't full, but we stood in line for 45 minutes. Half the time outside - then in line inside. From an organizational point of view, the ordering / serving of food in this hut has always been in need of improvement in my personal opinion, but in these times it is still topped. Many guests left or ate their own snacks. WHAT A SHAME
