Very nice Alm with very nice and friendly operators. The food is delicious and the portions adequate. Nobody will starve to death 😉. The view of the valley or the mountains is mega impressive.

The Dalfaz Alm is beautifully situated with a wonderful view of the Achensee. Here you can eat well Kaiserschmarrn, goulash soup or sausages. But beware, there are bold birds trying to steal the food.

Tip: Take the Rofanbahn up to the mountain station and from here hike along the panorama path with wonderful views of the Achensee to the Dalfazalm.
Wonderful panorama terrace over lush green cow pastures on the emerald green water of the Achensee. Good food like Kaiserschmarrn, buttermilk and of course other foods and drinks.
From here, continue hiking downhill to the Dalfaz waterfall down to Maurach.
Tip: For those who are really sporty, there is of course also a (arduous) ascent from Maurach up to the Dalfazalm.
Open from the beginning of May to the end of October

A rustic Alm as you imagine. Farmed and with accommodation. Go uphill for about an hour and you come to the Erfurt hut.

The only drawback is that the Alm is operated with self-service - if there is a lot going on, hardly anyone will look for a second drink ... Beautiful cabin, good food - unfortunately only in self-service. Great trip especially in spring / fall when it is a little cooler.

Super beautiful Alm, coming from Maurach with the gondola to the Dalfazalm, short and easy hike.
From there uphill via the Steinerne Tor, much downhill in the direction of Achenkirch. (Approx.15km)
That's why we prefer to walk uphill from Achenkirch, via the Kotalm to the Steinernen Tor to the Dalfazalm as a reward. Tour goes uphill a lot, Dalfazalm is always well attended. There was a thunderstorm yesterday and we were totally lonely and alone. Sunny at first, then showers. Pausing at the Kotalm until the thunderstorm was over, now in May 2022 over slabs of snow (not without risk) to the Steinernes Tor. Now the goal is in sight....."Dalfazalm" The sun came out again. Nice service, great Kaiserschmarren. UNIQUE !!! We have never been alone on the alp!
