A great hut... with good food, good breakfast and a beautiful view (you can even see the Großglockner). We had 3 4-bed rooms with our group and were super satisfied. There was even a toilet and a sink in every room. Showers were extra.

Great all-round view and an impressive cross. With rope protection on the ascent, a viewing platform, a short climb from the mountain station and enough space on the summit, there is always a lot going on.

The wire ropes that serve as railings and the metal stairs that bridge every even remotely steep point should not hide the fact that we are on a route with alpine challenges. Again and again it goes close to the abyss and once even over a short ridge. This means that the route is not recommended for hikers who are afraid of heights.
