A wildly carved and painted tree trunk that tells of a legend. A shepherdess and a toad encountered each other while the shepherdess was praying in a chapel. The toad wouldn't be scared away; instead, it grew feathers. The shepherdess was frightened and fled into the chapel, followed by the toad, who then suddenly disappeared. Apparently the soul of a deceased person who had now found peace.

For me, Kranzhorn Alm is the highlight of the Inn Valley. Great food, great service and really great hosts. The location is unique. Simply great.
