    If you are traveling in the Chiemgau, the summit of the Hochries should be on your to-do list. You can climb the mountain on the edge of the Chiemgau Alps on very different paths: from easy to difficult, from short to long - everything your heart desires is there. Even a train takes you up.

    In addition, you can start the tours from countless places. Aschau, Frasdorf or Samerberg are just three possible starting points. Open up and discover the possibilities!

                                  Nice climb from Aschau via Hofalm and Riesenhütte to (as I learned) THE Hochries (1,569m).

                                  The view is magnificent when the weather conditions are good! And surrounding peaks can be “attacked” 👍
                                  There is also a cable car, but it wasn't overcrowded at all when I visited.
