Beautiful hiking trail from Jöllenbeck to Enger

Beautiful path with history.

The source and the headwaters of the Bolldammbach can only be reached "off-grid". A very beautiful spot near the Ringsthof. But whether you want to expose yourself to the wrath of the unfriendly and even malicious landowners is something everyone has to decide for themselves.

The planetary path starts at the Jöllenbeck secondary school and ends at the highest point in the town of Enger on the Ringsthof grounds. The last planet of the solar system - Neptune - is installed there. It forms the end point of the 3 km long route and also offers a good vantage point towards Enger and the Wiehengebirge.

The Liesbergmühle is in a very well-maintained condition and can also be milled! It was founded in 1756 by the Prussian state as a royal mill. The surrounding farmers had to have their grain milled here. Violations were severely punished. There are many information boards on the mill site that also describe the outbuildings. There is also an interesting audio contribution via QR code. The seating options with a view of the Widukindstadt Enger are also nice.
