According to the inscription, the shelter at the Bennien quarry lake was completely renovated in 2020. It replaced the dilapidated and less comfortable hut from 1996. The neighboring lake has long since become a wetland biotope and natural paradise. A beautiful place to linger!👍😊

This airfield with shelter 🛖 was my inspiration to hike here. Fantastic view towards Künsebeck... the view 🏞 from Künsebeck towards Jakobsberg is also very nice.
