Homburg Castle For cyclists in the Main Valley, the view of the tuff rocks is always worth a photo stop with a “saddle break”. Homburg am Main Castle presents itself as a historical painter's corner that can be found with great regularity on calendars and in the relevant travel literature about Franconia. In fact: the architectural and historical landmark of the well-known wine-growing community on the eastern Mainviereck is one of the most famous monuments among the palaces and castles in Franconia. Homburg Castle has been municipally owned since 1869. The Triefenstein market as the current owner had to make a lot of efforts to save the half-timbered building from decay.

Theater plays are also performed at the Freudenberg ruins, and the ruins definitely offer a perfect environment.

And another small but fine castle in the Tauber Valley, not far from Bronnbach. Guided tours are only available on request, but you can drive up to the entrance, the view is worth it!

Wertheim my hometown. If you have your whole life in mind, you no longer notice how beautiful, medieval and idyllic this little town is 🤩.

Don't hesitate, sometimes take the ferry, it's not expensive and the view from the Main is even better 😁. You can also take the ferry back. In summer, at least on the weekends, there is always an ice cream man with extremely delicious ice cream. Promise (see pictures).🍦
