The path leads along the steep coast and always offers a great view over the sea. Partly you can park the bikes and there are opportunities to go down from the bike path to the beach. The beach is rustic and natural.

The Bastorf lighthouse is Germany's highest lighthouse. He stands on the 78.8 m above sea level. NHN high Bastorfer signal mountain. From the lighthouse you have a good view of the surrounding country and the Bay of Mecklenburg. In good weather you can expect a breathtaking panoramic view of the coastline.

The Rerik pier was inaugurated in 1992. At the foot of the Schmiedeberg, the popular meeting point for holidaymakers and locals extends 170 metres out over the Baltic Sea. Walking across the bridge, you are treated to a view of the wide sea and the beautiful coastal landscape of the Wustrow peninsula, the picturesque Schmiedeberg and the old Rerik church.

A well-developed and busy cycle path connects the lively Ostseebad Kühlungsborn with the abandoned seaside resort Heiligendamm with its noble, classical spa architecture; then it leads directly along the Baltic Sea through the NSG Stoltera to Warnemünde.

The Reriker pier was inaugurated in 1992. At the foot of the Schmiedeberg, the popular meeting point for vacationers and locals juts 170 meters out over the Baltic Sea. When you walk across the bridge, you will have a view of the wide sea and the beautiful coastal landscape of the Wustrow peninsula, the picturesque Schmiedeberg and the old Reriker church.

Sophisticated. Nice. Fully. Fascinating. The promenade invites you to stroll, if you want to escape the hustle and bustle and prefer to drive, you should choose a different route.

Above the cliffs, the trail leads through relatively young forest. The trail is a delightful ride, but there are occasional sections that separate and continue slightly off the straight path. Perhaps a section of the cliffs is in danger of collapsing? Be careful of oncoming traffic, as the path isn't particularly wide.
