The Devil's Pulpit doesn't offer any special views, but the path along the rock formation is spectacular.

Observation tower at 870 m altitude. Approximately 104 steps lead up a spiral stone staircase. From up there you have a fantastic 360° all-round view.

The steps along the trail can be slippery when it rains. Sure-footedness is necessary in some places. It goes uphill over adventurous paths and stairs to the Teufelskanzel, a large rock formation on the way.

The Teufelskanzel with its fascinating rock formations is an adventure in itself. The path leads up over moss-covered stone steps and wooden steps to the red sandstone formation. The steps along the trail can be slippery when it rains. Sure-footedness is necessary in some places.

Just a brilliant way to climb.

There are several seating areas at the Moosturm, one of which is covered in a pavilion. The 360 degree view from the tower is unique in Ortenau. For me, the nicer place to linger when the weather is nice is the Lothar monument with its seating on the rocks above the sculpture. Here you have a permanently beautiful view when you take a break.
