The Belchen is not the highest mountain, but it is one of the most beautiful mountains in the Black Forest, because it offers visitors a fantastic panoramic view of the Rhine Valley, the Vosges and, in good weather, even as far as the Alps. As one of the most popular excursion destinations in the southern Black Forest, the Belchen is well frequented all year round.

The most beautiful mountain in the southern Black Forest. Three-country view - you turn in a circle and you can see Switzerland/France/ and the beautiful southern Black Forest :) breathtaking. Due to its open location, weatherproof and warm clothing is absolutely necessary!

"...The source area of the Stübenbach is on the 1,386 meter high Stübenwasen. From there it meanders through the high valley of Todtnauberg, where other clear mountain streams join it. These then plunge together with a loud roar in two stages over a huge granite massif into the valley. A beautiful place also nicely prepared with the climbs to the left and right of the waterfall. I also think the loungers below the waterfall are very well made.

In clear weather a beautiful view of the surroundings, the Alps, the Jura and the Vosges. Definitely worth checking out. Extra magical in winter.

In clear weather a stunning view over the entire Alps main ridge from east to west, about 250km. Splendid! As if you can touch the mountains.

The highest mountain in the Black Forest. When the weather is nice, you have a beautiful view of the Black Forest. There are several ways to get up here. You walk on the Feldberg. There are various hiking trails upstairs or you can use the Feldbergbahn and then walk upstairs. No matter what you take, it is definitely worth it.
