The Braunsel is worth seeing and unique!

After the Bear Cave, the path climbs steeply, and there are currently many fallen trees in the way. You should be flexible and able to step over them or climb through the trees below. However, you shouldn't be afraid of heights. The path is very difficult with small children. However, the valley and the aqueduct are very beautiful and quickly make you forget your initial effort.

The brewery includes an inn and attached hotel. It has been in continuous operation since 1697. The brewery tour with the owner is well worth it.

You can follow in the footsteps of the old brewers at the "Paulas Alb" inn in the "Adler" hotel. Here, the town's long brewing tradition, which included more than twenty active breweries at the end of the 19th century, is actively pursued, and beer culture can be experienced. In 1899, the first Ehingen draft wheat beer was brewed in the former "Zum Goldenen Adler" brewery. Now run by the fifth generation, the family offers a variety of beers. Ehingen's brewer, Walter Wender, was first mentioned in the town's history in 1384. Since winning the "Tourist Ideas Competition for the Enjoyment Region of Baden-Württemberg" in 2009, the town has also called itself a city of beer culture. The beer brewing course, where you can learn everything you ever wanted to know about different types of beer and their production processes, is popular with guests.

A playground and a beer garden, winding paths along the Schmiech River, and a romantic rose garden invite you to linger in Ehingen's city garden. The artificially created Groggensee, whose name derives from the area's former name "Krockental," is the annual setting for a carnival spectacle, the "Excavation of the Groggadäler." In cold winters, the Groggensee is often used as an ice skating rink.
