The three-aisled building was first mentioned in 1275. However, there was a predecessor church that existed as early as the Carolingian period in the 8th century. The current church was originally built as a Romanesque basilica, but was later rebuilt in Gothic and Baroque styles. If you get the chance, you should definitely take a look inside. Among other things, a 14 Holy Helper altar from the Ulm school can be admired.
