Portraits of many Bavarian kings line the Fürstenstraße as a reference to the Museum of the Bavarian Kings.

The car park in Brunnen above the bridge is a good place for the tour. Free of charge, mostly little frequented and here you can decide whether to take the direct route to Kniebis or the small detour past the Bannwaldsee. I always ride counterclockwise, but that's a matter of taste.

The Forggensee is the absolute highlight of the region.

Of course, we also passed Füssen on our Forggensee tour. A round that I can only recommend to everyone.

The Forggensee is a reservoir fed by the Lech. The water in it is slowly drained in autumn and refilled in spring when the snow melts in the mountains, so that shipping can start again from June. The lake is in a fantastic location with a mountain backdrop and a view of Neuschwanstein Castle. A great bathing lake in summer

Very nice lake with great angles. Simple walks are also possible here. Caution: During seasonal peaks (holidays) you should be prepared for a large number of people who are unfamiliar with the hiking multiplication table, who “run” along the hiking trails and sometimes do not take any account of people running downhill.
