The destination of the Lech ErlebnisWeg, which leads from Landsberg to Füssen, is located directly at the Lechfall. The Lechweg begins just a few steps further, for those who haven't had enough of hiking.

Of course, we also passed Füssen on our Forggensee tour. A round that I can only recommend to everyone.

Anyone who has seen the Lechfall should continue on foot at the Schwansee kiosk through the forest to the Schwan See. From there you can see the two castles from dad (money) and (white) from the son - King Ludwig II.

The Forggensee is a reservoir fed by the Lech. The water in it is slowly drained in autumn and refilled in spring when the snow melts in the mountains, so that shipping can start again from June. Very nice lake with great angles. Simple walks are also possible here. Caution: During seasonal peaks (holidays) you should be prepared for a large number of people who are unfamiliar with the hiking multiplication table, who “run” along the hiking trails and sometimes do not take any account of people running downhill.
