A great place. For a small fee, you can climb the rocks if you're not afraid of heights. You can also celebrate Walpurgis Night here. There's also a beautiful small lake next to it.

For centuries, a hilltop castle stood atop Falkenberg in the Teutoburg Forest, one of the largest medieval dynastic castles in Westphalia. Falkenburg Castle once served as the seat of power in Lippe. But that was a long time ago. Before excavations began in 2004, Falkenburg Castle was just an inconspicuous ruin, a popular destination for Sunday family outings and hikes. No one would have guessed back then that such an impressive and imposing castle complex lay hidden underground.
