The Sina-Warte (Sina Lookout) stands atop the Hoher Lindkogel (834 m) in the Vienna Woods and is one of the region's most famous observation towers. From its platform, visitors can enjoy impressive panoramic views of the Vienna Basin, the foothills of the Alps, and, on a clear day, all the way to Vienna. Built in the 19th century, the tower commemorates Countess Sina and is a worthwhile destination for hikers and view lovers.

The summit cross is not at the highest point, but it does offer a good view.

On the 561 meter high Arnstein, in the dense forest, you can discover the remains of Arnstein Castle, which was built in the 12th century. After it was destroyed during the Turkish siege in 1529, the complex was partially rebuilt and changed hands several times. Since 1955, the ruins have been managed by the Austrian Federal Forests. A detour to the Arnsteinnadel rock formation is also worthwhile.

The Hohe Lindkogel, also known as the Iron Gate, is a 834 meter high popular excursion mountain in the southern Vienna Woods and is located west of Baden near Vienna. Due to its proximity to Vienna and because there are several opportunities to climb, the Hohe Lindkogel is often climbed all year round.

great big cave, into which you can go a bit further with a headlamp allegedly the cave was used as stables by the castle residents

A very pleasant and leisurely hike on the Peilstein, also suitable for/with children 👍 Very very nice view! Surprisingly (although there is an inn in the immediate vicinity) you are almost alone here 😉
