The Hohe Lindkogel - better known to many as the Iron Gate - Many hikers prefer the climbs from the Helenental, although this is where you have to overcome the greatest difference in altitude. The route through the narrow Kalkgraben, whose slopes are interspersed with picturesque rocks, and over the Brennersteig - has an almost alpine character and is also extremely romantic, even if you do work up a bit of a sweat.

29.12.2015 - Sina WarteDescription - At the summit of the Hohen Lindkogel you will find the "Eisernes Tor" shelter with the "Sina Warte" observation tower in the Alland municipality. In 1895, Simon Georg Freiherr von Sina had this 14-meter-high stone observation tower built, on which you can still read: “To the pleasure of the public, Freiherr von Sina” and gave it to the city of Baden with the obligation to keep it open to the public. 😊👍👍👍
