Beautiful hut with a great "view terrace", delicious snacks at a fair price, a stop is worth it.

The Stutzalpe is beautifully situated at 1,500 m above the Kleinwalsertal. It offers classic alpine food and drinks. From the terrace there is a wonderful view of the southern side valleys of the Kleinwalsertal.

Always good for a break and a great starting point for numerous hikes and snowshoe tours.

I stayed here when the cabin was on winter break. Good to know: there is a covered, wind-protected area in front of the entrance.

A beautiful snowshoe tour even without a summit. From here you can climb the Steinmandl, the Hählekopf, the Gerachsattel or the Ifen.

The Inner Kuhgehrenalpe is always a nice starting point for various hikes. The hut operators are friendly and offer the usual cold dishes. From there you can enjoy a magnificent view of the valley. Particularly relaxing after a strenuous hike from e.g. the Kanzelwand, the Fidererpasshütte or the Hammerspitze.
