A wonderful, lovingly run alpine pasture. The path up from Mittelberg is also very well maintained, and you have almost constant, magnificent views of the surrounding peaks and down into the valley... Consequently, it's quite busy here :-)

Idyllic and somewhat remote you will find on the inner Kuhgehrenalpe a breathtaking panorama of the Kleinwalsertal, especially on the village Mittelberg with Baad. The hut can be reached from the valley on the one hand, but you have to expect about 2 hours of ascent, on the other hand, the hut is also accessible from the mountain station of the Kanzelwandbahn.
