Around the Wendelstein, many works of art can be found on the artists' trail that runs here. However, some are well hidden.

... you can go to Spitzingsee (1,084 m), especially with children, at any time of the year. Spring, summer, autumn or winter. Does not matter. Because it's always great on site. The car can rest in the paid parking lot (5.00 euros) at the Taubensteinbahn (on the east side) or at the ski lift (on the west side); With a lot of luck you can also find a free parking space at the southern tip of Spitzingsee. Among other things I was there on November 1st, 2018 (in autumn) and on December 14th, 2018, on January 27th, 2019 and on December 10th, 2021 (in winter, with lots and lots of snow); it was great every time. In addition: whatever destination you are aiming for in the area, it will always be a nice tour. Either comfortable or somewhat dynamic and challenging (e.g. Rotwand (1,884 m), Brecherspitz (1,683 m)). Because the six-pack and the bikini figure don't just form like that... As a culinary tip, a stop at the Obere Firstalm (1,375 m) is a must, especially if you have children with you. It is cozy and there is everything on site so that you don't go hungry or thirsty. PS: please just look at the pictures of the tours mentioned. PS to PS: in winter there are also sledges to rent; The end of the route is at the Spitzingsattel (Trautweinweg).

Easy, just under 8 km long circular route around the beautiful Schliersee. The circular trail around the lake is well signposted, mostly paved and right on the lake shore. Since there are almost no inclines, the Schliersee can be circumnavigated in just under 2 hours on foot and in a good half hour by bike.
