Gaislachkogel Summit Cross Summit cross on the 3,056-meter-high Gaislachkogel 100 years of the Innerötztal Section

The Ludwigsburger Hut (formerly Lehnerjoch Hut) offers a great view over to the Kaunergrat and down into the valley. There is a playground for children in front of the terrace. In summer there are a total of 52 beds in rooms and dormitories. The winter room can accommodate up to 14 people. You can find all the information at https://www.ludwigsburger-huette.at/.

Bike Republic Sölden: “Ollweite” usually in conjunction with “auf”: af Ollweite. In the Ötztal dialect, Ollweite means in the open air, in open terrain, outside the yard, somewhere outside. The line starts below the Langegg mountain station at 2,600 m, ends at the Hühnersteign and, at 7 km, is one of the longest lines in the Republic. It is physically demanding and extremely varied with cool berms, slightly blocked stone fields and wooden structures.

We had a comfortable stay in the small Larcher Alm. There are about 20 beds and a shower. Nice hosts!

The large wood-paneled dining room with the green tiled stove dating from the turn of the century invites you to linger. A collection of local songbooks is available to guests. Culinary delights include beer and shandy, Wiener schnitzel, Tyrolean cheese dumplings and warm apple strudel. The beds are divided into bunks so that you can enjoy a little privacy. There is enough storage space for luggage and clothes. From the large sun terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Ötztal Alps.
