At the Tölzer Hütte, you can enjoy delicious snacks such as Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) or O'batztn (sweet dumplings) on the sun terrace.

The Lenggrieser Hütte was a good starting point for our upcoming tours, friendly and helpful staff, the food is plentiful and served super quickly, when I think of the portion of Kaiserschmarren, which I can only recommend to everyone.

Great hut, great view, very good service with great food & drinks.

In the Staffelalm, built around 1868 at an altitude of 1329 m, there are two paintings by Franz Marc on the side wall inside, a bull's head and a stag with a doe. Marc often stayed on the mountain pasture in the summer months between 1900 and 1904.

The short walk to the summit from the Tegernseer Hütte (only 5-10 minutes) is worth it, because from up here you can look down on the hut and Buchstein, and also enjoy an extraordinary mountain panorama, including Blauberg-Kamm, Guffert, Achensee and Rofan, Karwendel and Wetterstein, and with good visibility deep into the Central Alps.

Very nice tour. At the beginning it starts with a long gravel and scree path. Then normal hiking trails that lead in small narrow paths along rock faces. But you can walk these paths with your dog without hesitation. Sturdy shoes are absolutely necessary. The ascent to the Rabenkopf is tough and sometimes very steep with many steps, some very high. You will be rewarded with a phenomenal view at the end.
