Munkebjerg is a wooded ridge on the south side of Vejle Fjord, featuring one of Denmark’s rare serpentine roads. The "Albuen" beach is located on the Vejlefjord and is one of over nine bathing options in the Vejle area. These include bathing lakes, beaches and outdoor pools that invite you to sunbathe and relax. The easiest and most environmentally friendly way to get to the bathing area is by public transport. If you would like to drive to the bathing area by car, there are suitable parking spaces nearby. The water quality has been classified as at least "good" for 5 years in a row according to the EU classification. This is ideal for bathing.
