Castel Beseno, the largest hilltop castle in Trentino, sits atop a hill overlooking the Adige Valley and the Rio Cavallo Valley. The Ciclovia della Valle dell'Adige cycle path offers a beautiful view of the castle's mighty walls and towers, which blend majestically into the surrounding landscape. The fortress's origins date back to the 12th century, and it played a significant role during the Battle of Calliano in 1487, among other events. Today, Castel Beseno is an important cultural monument and a popular destination for cyclists and nature lovers who enjoy the combination of historic architecture, verdant river landscapes, and vineyards.

The sculptures stand along the bike path in Lizzana and depict metal cyclists in dynamic poses. They were created by Swiss artist Andrea Malär and appear to blend harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. As you cycle along the bike path, your gaze is drawn to the artfully designed figures, which impressively combine nature, movement, and creativity. Definitely a little eye-catcher!

The vineyards in the Adige Valley near Mori are perfect for exploring by bike. The cycle path through the rolling hills and vineyards, part of the Ciclovia del Sole (Sun Valley Cycle Route), offers both athletic challenges and beautiful views of the wine-growing landscapes. The route from Mori through the vineyards is particularly charming, allowing you to enjoy the regional flora and fauna. Those preferring a more relaxed route can cycle the stage from Trento to Mori along the Adige River, past orchards and vineyards. The region also offers cultural highlights such as the Romanesque Church of San Biagio and culinary breaks, making a bike tour through the vineyards a diverse experience for nature, culture, and culinary lovers.

The Lago di Loppio Biotope is a nature reserve on the former bed of Lake Loppio, which was drained in 1958. A diverse wetland with meadows, fens, limestone cliffs, and forests has developed over approximately 113 hectares, providing a habitat for numerous amphibians, reptiles, and protected bird species. The area is particularly attractive for cyclists: the surrounding area is easy to explore by bike, and the cycle paths offer repeated, beautiful views of the biotope, nature, and the surrounding landscape of the Vallagarina Valley.
