From the Nahe bridge between Münster-Sarmsheim and Bingen-Büdesheim you have a beautiful view of Münster-Sarmsheim and the vineyards behind it

Trutzbingen is the ruin of a round tower at the edge of Münster-Sarmsheim toward Bingen am Rhein. It is the remnant of a customs barrier built in 1493. The half-shell of a round tower has been preserved. Since 2002, Trutzbingen has been part of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site. The church presumably had a predecessor building dating back to 1066. The oldest part of the church today is Romanesque and dates back to the 12th century. Like many other churches, St. Peter and Paul was destroyed and rebuilt several times. No written records exist. "The church contains the only late Gothic stained glass windows in the Nahe Valley." Unfortunately, when I was there, the church was closed. Very nice view over the entire valley and Münster-Sarmsheim - even if it shows how densely populated it is.
