The so-called brewery (location) is a building from the late 14th century with a simple, well-structured blind gable. As with the monastery church, red brick was used as the building material. In 1945, the gable on the southeast side collapsed when the neighboring bridge over the lock ditch leading to the Himmelpfort lock was blown up in the last days of the war.
