The church, dedicated to Saint George, the fighter against all evil, was probably built soon after. Its north wall still shows what it might have originally looked like: beautiful fieldstone masonry with small arched windows.

If you want to pass Lüneburg, you should drive on the east side, otherwise the harbor will block your way.
