On the way to Wilsede, you pass this impressive historic barn... These thatched barns are the homes of the Heidschnucken sheep, which can be spotted here and there in the heathland.

Not a visual highlight, but it's a good place to cross to the other side of the street.

Nice underpass for cyclists. Definitely slippery when wet.

The "Wilschenbruch and Ilmenau" hiking trail also passes by here, which is ideal as a circular route for a half-day tour. At this point it passes under the Uelzener Straße together with the Hasenburger Mühlenbach.

A really beautiful trail along the Schmale Aue with a small wooden bridge and footbridge.

The Hasenburg not only offers something for the eye, but also a varied profile by northern German standards.

For a long time, the Hasenburg was one of Lüneburg's oldest discotheques and still offers a restaurant today. From here you can either go to the nearby forest areas or continue out of town towards Häcklingen and Rettmer.
