It is very nice to observe the stars here without any light pollution. In the evenings, this is one of the quietest places you can imagine. The only downside: if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, you can smell the stench of the turkey farm.

The observation tower on the Hellberg is a 21-meter-high, solid steel construction and offers a wonderful view over the expanse of the Schwinzer Heide. It can be reached from the direction of the bathing beach via the old cherry avenue.

Located next to the stargazing spot, one of ten in the area, well located due to the low "light pollution" at night from cities and industry, because there is nothing here other than "landscape". So a great view at night too: an eerily beautiful sky arched above us with a white, flashing moon... beautiful!
