Very beautiful lake

The Kleiner Langhagensee is occupied by a silting moor which is surrounded by a moor forest of pine trees. Typical plant species are peat mosses.

On the lake there are the nature reserves Dune Pine Forest in the west and the northern shores of Langhagensee and Kleiner Langhagensee in the north. At the southern end, near the Wooster Teerofen settlement, there is a small campsite and a heavily silted bathing area. There was a children's holiday camp at this bathing area until the 1990s. There was a military training area for the National People's Army near the lake.

The small village Wooster Teerofen is idyllically situated in the middle of the forest. There is an old barn of a former Büdnerei, a giant tree of life (natural monument), information boards, a campsite and a large parking lot at the end of the village. At the time of the GDR resin was obtained here. Resin served as a raw material e.g. for turpentine and medicines. The trees were then regularly scratched, so they resin. Here stands a pedunculate oak marked as a natural monument. Unfortunately, branches and crown had to be cut 😕

Unguarded, but the finest sandy beach 🙂 Also very suitable for dogs.

Pure nature, little frequented, silence - what more could you want?! Oh yes, swimming there are also some 🙂
